Patek Philippe releases a trio of technically exquisite timepieces that highlight the maison’s mastery of grand complications

Combining technical ingenuity, creative excellence and inspiration, we invite you to explore the three new references released by Patek Philippe in 2020. As to be expected from the powerhouse of complicated watchmaking, the three references are nothing less than superlative when it comes to the movements housed within each case and the beauty of each exterior. 5303R - Minute repeater tourbillon

A grand complication whose complexity can be admired while worn on the wrist

Created for connoisseurs of striking watches, the standout feature of the 5303R is its open-worked aesthetic, allowing the wearer to admire its architecture from the dial, especially the hammer and gongs as they chime out the passing hours and minutes. In addition to the striking time, the watch bears a striking aesthetic of a rose gold case featuring white gold intarsias engraved with foliage motifs. The movement is manually wound and the whole is complemented with a black alligator strap, sapphire crystal case and features a minute repeater with chime on two classic gongs, a tourbillon and small seconds complications.

5370P - Split second chronograph

A new grand complication with a fresh and elegant interpretation of its predecessor

Patek Philippe presented its first split-seconds chronograph model in 2015 – Ref. 5370P. A split-seconds chronograph or ‘rattrapante’ (French for catch up) is a watch that enables the wearer to measure two concurrent sets of elapsed time I.e. different lap times. The split-seconds complication is challenging to execute and is hard to come by – only a handful of maisons produce it as a proprietary movement and Patek Philippe is amongst the few. The 2020 version of this coveted grand complication is with an updated façade in the form of a blue grand feu enamel dial, 18k gold dial plate, platinum case and blue alligator leather strap.

5270J - Perpetual Calendar Chronograph

A new interpretation of a legendary grand complication, with a yellow-gold case

An iconic reference since 1941, the Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph now features two innovations; a yellow gold case and a new caliber – the CH 29-535 PS Q , which is the first chronograph movement with a perpetual calendar developed and crafted entirely by Patek Philippe. Timeless in design and innovative in its technicality, the newly debuted yellow gold presentation of this timepiece provides effortless elegance as the face to this set of impressive grand complications
